Please see the attached notice regarding the DIRECTV Pension Plan that will be distributed today to employees. The Company provided the following summary of the updates:

AT&T wireless workers from nine southeastern states and the U.S. Virgin Islands won increased wages, more job security and rollbacks of offshoring and outsourcing in a tentative contract agreement reached last night.
The committee met with the company throughout the night. Shortly before midnight we received a comprehensive proposal from the company that includes wages, benefits and addresses many of the concerns brought forth by the bargaining committee
The committee just concluded meeting with the company and have yet to reach an agreement. Although we have made progress around some issues there are still important issues that are unresolved, most notably wages and benefits.
The committee met with the company this morning to pass a counter-proposal to their second company package proposal and their benefits package. Unlike previous meetings, the company was very open to discussing the “why” behind our proposals.
