The Bargaining Committee met with the Company today (November 11th) and the Company agreed to withdraw proposals pertaining to changes in language regarding Vacations, Vacation Treatment for Employees Leaving the Service, Absences Excused with Pay, Sickness Payments Prior to Eligibility under STD, Suspensions and Discharges, Promotions, Transfers, Job Vacancies and Places of Reporting, Job Descriptions Titles and Classifications, Pensions and Benefits Payroll Dues Deductions, and Compensatory Overtime.

The Bargaining Committee met with the Company today (November 10th) and the Company agreed to withdraw three proposals pertaining to Pay and Compensation (Article 4).

The Bargaining Committee met with the Company today (November 3rd) and discussed changes to the current healthcare benefits. The Company has proposed to revise healthcare benefits for our members in order to align the plan with those currently being offered to non-bargained employees/managers.

There have been numerous inquiries as to where we are with bargaining and why it appears to be taking more time than in previous contract years and this update is being provided to clear up some of the confusion.

The Bargaining Committee met with the Company today (November 2) and once again discussed their proposal to change language in Article 7 and in Article 8. It has become more apparent that the Company is not willing to resolve this sticking point in a manner that is acceptable to your Bargaining Committee.

The Bargaining Committee met with the Company today (October 20) and informed the Company that we are unable to entertain their proposal regarding Employment Security.

Your bargaining team met among ourselves today, waiting for the company?s response to the proposals we passed yesterday, which we feel represented a fair set of work rules and benefits which you deserve. The company has informed us that they will not be finished until tomorrow with a counter offer.

Monday, September 28, 2015 -- The Bargaining Committee met with the company today and discussed the Company?s proposed changes to Article 7 Force Adjustments. The Company is determined to revise the language in Article 7 so as to side step seniority rights in the event of a surplus.
