The Union and the Company met on Friday July 27th & Monday 7/30. The majority of the session was spent discussing details surrounding the healthcare and pension proposals presented by the Company. The Union made various data requests regarding anticipated cost savings and the effect of these proposals on the employees.

CWA D3 ATT SE Bargaining Report #11

The Company recently passed a proposal to put PremTechs in an appendix of the core contract. Your team challenged the appropriateness of bringing this subject to the core table while it was being addressed by another bargaining team. We were advised this was a permissive subject however it would involve Article 14 which is a mandatory subject.

YP Southeast Advertising and Publishing LLC Bargaining Report #4

The Union and the Company met on Tuesday July 24th. The first part of the bargaining session was utilized to review current outstanding proposals and ask clarifying questions regarding those proposals. The Union and Company each went through this process and many of the market related proposals that the Union has presented thus far, were discussed in detail.

Your Utilities Bargaining committee met today with AT&T Company representatives Friday and again this morning. Friday the Union presented proposals to add sickness payments, and to add new work that is currently contracted out, including a proposed trial on some new work opportunities. We also passed a proposal to put the Utility Operations employees in the Bell South Telecommunications contract.

Your Utilities Bargaining committee met today with AT&T Company representatives and each Chair gave opening remarks prior to start of bargaining. The company presented three proposals, one cleaning up language due to entity name changes. Others were related to vacation accrual, and temporary workers.

CWA District 3 Woman of the Year - Esther Pond, Vice President CWA Local 3806

At our District 3 meeting held in Myrtle Beach this year we honored the first ?District 3 Woman of the Year?. We put the call out to our Local Presidents last year requesting nominees. The Women?s Committee was pleased with the great resumes sent in. We were able to keep the winner a secret until she was announced at the meeting and everyone enjoyed the excitement.
