Although we have not reached an agreement on a full PT contract, we have agreed upon several issues while continuing to bargain.
We have agreed with the Company on the following issues:
• The Company will provide PT’s uniform pants. Currently PT’s must provide their own.
• The Company will provide merit raises for PT’s. Those earning over top pay, currently $17.48 per hour will be paid as a lump sum. We continue to bargain for fixed wage scales with automatic increases.
• We have agreed to allow 1750 PT’s to carry over vacation & PDO days through the first Quarter of 2012. Absent this agreement, unused 2011 vacation would have been lost.
We expect to be back at the table in the near future.
