2014 Mobility Bargaining Report # 9

The bargaining committee did not meet yesterday as we were continuing to work on issues and waiting on the company to respond to many Union proposals. Your Bargaining committee met with AT&T Company representatives this morning to continue bargaining discussions.

The Union T/A’d, the company’s revised proposal on earned vacation.

We also passed a proposal to renew LOA 7 for the Memphis Distribution Center. The Company responded that they would T/A LOA 7.

They then passed a counter proposal to renew the Job Satisfaction Committee for both Retail and Call Centers as proposed by the Union, and to renew the LOA on Call Quality Observation (LOA 3).

The Union and company then had a long discussion on the issues around customer surveys and the current customer feedback tool (CFT). The company would not agree to add language but did agree to address the issue with the Leadership as well as have this as an agenda item on the District WRC to address concerns from the employees.

The company then passed an insulting economic proposal.

We recessed to review the proposal and prepare appropriate responses.

We met again this afternoon and gave the company a counter proposal on their economic proposal that we believe would be beneficial to our members. The Union also T/A’d the company counter proposal on LOA 3 and the Job satisfaction committee.

We believe we have convinced the company to agree to several of the proposals we have passed but are waiting until there is an agreement on the economic proposal.

We did not set a time for our next meeting as both parties need to review all outstanding issues and determine the next steps.
