AT&T Southeast Town Hall Call for 6-20-2019

On Thursday 06/20/2019 at 7:00 P.M. Eastern / 6:00 P.M. Central, the CWA District 3 Office will be hosting a town hall conference call with CWA members across District 3 to provide an update on contract negotiations with AT&T and our mobilization efforts across the District. We will also be taking questions directly from CWA members.

AT&T Southeast Bargaining Report #1

Today the BST, Utility Operations, and Billing committees, along with the Wire Tech and Consumer subcommittees, met and started putting together proposals based on the suggestions sent in to the Bargaining Task force meeting. We want to thank everyone that sent in a suggestion and those that participated in sorting and prioritizing them. If you are upset with the recent surplus announcement of 911 of our brothers and sisters, then show your support for the bargaining teams.

Last week we held a successful conference call with the membership to discuss further the reality of the “final offer” from AT&T. Many thanks for the hundreds of members that joined! Over the last few days, we have exchange communications with the Company to address many of the concerns of our membership. We have made clear to AT&T the Union's willingness to continue to bargain and find solutions in innovative and creative ways.

The parties continued having productive meetings and dialogues on the main issues that remain on the table. But we are still extremely far on main issues such as job security, wages and benefits. We have made it crystal clear to the Company that Job Security is the top issue and we would not settle any contract if we do not ensure better protections for our future.
