DEX/YP Bargaining Update # 10

On 10/25/2018 bargaining team had a conference call to review the new data that was provided to us. During out last in-person session, the company, submitted wrong data to CWA for us to examine. This quite troubles some. This has been the constant theme with DEX/YP. This was a very brief call, our Bargaining team voiced their concerns about the inaccurate data and suggested it appears intentionally. and told them we are not reconvening until the company’s data is accurate.

CWA DEX/YP Bargaining Update #9

Today, the company provided a “real” result comparison between the current pay plan versus the company’s Sales Drive plan. Some vital data was missing, but the results provided were not promising. Unfortunately, we expect the results to be even more dismal when all the data is compiled. We also reviewed the 2019 benefits package.

CWA DEX/YP Bargaining update #8

The bargaining team met today with the company. The company presented additional info on Sales Drive which provided a clearer picture of the new sales compensation plan they want to implement with the new contract. The bargaining team presented an item for discussion as well as Proposal #1 about Healthcare benefits.

CWA DEX/YP Bargaining update #5&6&7

Day 5 8/22/2018: Today was a full day of DEX/YP rolling out the Fixed and Variable Rate Vehicle Reimbursement Program (FAVR). This 12 page presentation gave a detailed breakdown on how the program works. CWA has some serious concerns as to how the company will use the data that the mileage app collects. Day 5 and the company has not passed any proposals.

Contract extension for DEX/YP

CWA District 3 has agreed to extend the current YP contract that is set to expire on 8/11/2018 to September 10, 2018 @ 5pm. This is a 30 day extension. All current provision in the contract remain intact. An extension means we still time to mobilize and organize non-members. In the past few weeks, we have received some membership cards from longtime non-members. Please I urge every local to make a concerted effort to sign up non-members.
