More Good News for District 3

On January 4, 2008, the American Arbitration Association certified that 50% plus of the eligible employees of AT&T Mobility in the State of Kentucky indicated (through consent membership cards) their desire to become members of the Communications Workers of America and appoint CWA as their collective bargaining representative.

 

All Kentucky Locals participated in this campaign.  However, Local Presidents Shane Wadley (3309), Mary Garr (3310), Richard Long (3314), the CWA/AT&T Mobility Call Center Members (3371) and District 3 Organizing Coordinator Liz Roberson did an outstanding job in spear-heading this campaign.

 

We are extremely pleased with our Organizing efforts in 2007 and are looking forward to Organizing the rest of AT&T Mobility Wireless in 2008.  So be on the look out for us in South Carolina, Mississippi and Louisiana…..we will be knocking on your door soon!
